The Interfak Big Band Members

An important aspect of the Interfak Big Band: members. Without them, no music. This page gives a list of all active members of the IBB. However keep in mind that the IBB is in fact much larger. We stay in touch with old members, but these can't all be listed here.

We are proud to have students from abroad almost every year to play with us for a couple of months.

The main goal of the IBB is to have fun, to make music together and to have a good atmosphere. An important requirement for that is having good rehearsals, and hence having good musicians. Right now we have a superb team playing and rehearsing. But the IBB is always eager to meet new musicians. Really, just come by and ask if you can play along, and to have fun. It does not matter whether you are a soloist, or a great section player. Just make sure you are leveled up with IBB (which means, not world-famous-potential, but a good reader and with good jazz-knowledge and background) to ensure a pleasant atmosphere. There are no auditions, but we count on your own self-knowledge whether to stay or to leave.

Our future is to become better, to have more pleasure, to become a better team, to finally clean up the scores, to make another trip abroad, to play a lot, to have pleasant rehearsals, ...
